Egg frenzy
Like the weather things have perked up on the news front today and we have some strong stories for next week's Gazette.
It's been a fairly frantic day due to the Bank Holiday deadlines but we have managed to stay ahead of the game and should be in a fairly healthy position by the close of play - with only the front end news pages to complete on Tuesday morning.
One of our features next week will be some really colourful and emotional picture spread taken today by our chief photographer Chris Berry, of the 63 Queen's Colour Squadron returning to RAF Uxbridge after their tour of duty in Iraq.
While it has been busy in the newsroom it seems there is a shopping frenzy going on in Uxbridge - if it was not for the weather you would think it was Christmas...
I just hope all those people laden down with their Easter eggs get them home safely before they melt!
I am taking a few days off after the Easter holidays so this will be my final posting until I return to Gazette House on Monday, April 16.
Have a great Easter and enjoy the good weather.
